PAUL BUTLER LENNOX

Paul's Credits include the lead Joe in "A Day like Today" which was selected for the Galway Film Fleadh, Chicago Irish Film Festival and Cine Campus festival in South America respectively. It screened on Aer Lingus Flights in 2016 and screened on Australian tv in 2020. He can be seen in Hardy Bucks (RTE, Netflix), The Tudors (HBO Netflix), Rental Boys (RTE), Shadows in the Woods and Sin é. Pebble (Bafta best short film nominee) and The Film Halowin, produced by Lars Von Trier and Directed by Paco Torres.  Paul has also worked with a variety of Ireland's talent including Lenny Abrahamson, John Butler, David Freyne, James Fitzgerald and Ian Hunt Duffy. 

Paul has performed on stage in The Project, Smock Alley, The Peacock and The Samuel Beckett Theatre over the years.  

 

He is also an experienced Voice-over artist with over 15 years' experience  in Audio drama, Radio performance and Podcasting. Credits include a number of radio plays for Rte radio Drama, Rte Jnr and the BBC and work for Google, Netflix, Studio Meala, The Irish Human Rights Equality Commission, St Vincent DePaul, Renault, The European Human Rights Defenders, NHRI Human Rights international and The Very popular Irish Historical Audio Drama "The Invincibles, Park Assassins"  which is available on Spotify. 

Paul also began Directing in recent years with an Historical Documentary on Irish Cinemas, "The Picturehouse" and "Cherished Unequally" - a visual piece on the housing crisis. 

He received a Scholarship to study at John Boorman's Irish Film school. 

A former Member and company Member of Dublin Youth Theatre and The National Youth Theatre, Paul Graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting Full-Time Course and received the Bank of Ireland, Millennium Scholars Trust Scholarship to do so.

He also founded the popular Film Network Ireland (FNI) and hosts in person and online events. He co hosts and Produces FNI WrapChat, their popular industry Film and Tv Podcast.
